• Designed and conducted experiments to characterize energy loss in parallel-connected stacked microbial fuel cells
• Created AutoCAD drawings for microbial electrochemical cells, which were specifically designed to improve current generation
• Completed Biochemical Methane Potential (BMP) tests for industrial wastewater, and compiled the results for preparation of a report
• Regularly visited Ailsa Craig Wastewater Treatment Plant for monitoring a pilot-scale new aeration and mixing technology installed in an aerated digester and conducting water quality analysis, and wrote technical reports for Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA)
• Assisted a postdoctoral fellow with experiments to develop a novel method for controlling voltage reversal in serially stacked microbial fuel cells
