Designed schematics for sphere and base of the motion simulator using Altium Designer.
Improved the business development side of the startup by interviewing 30+ potential customers, providing a validation for the product market fit of the business model.

PROJECTS

Gump (A Voice-Commanded Bipedal Robot) - Montreal, QC - August 2013 to April 2014
Gump was built by a team of four to fulfill our Graduation requirement in Engineering by designing and testing a Capstone Project as specified by Concordia University. Gump is a bipedal robot, the first of its kind at our university, being able to move according to voice commands.
Hardware Lead
Saved 21% of team budget ($190.00) by designing bipedal legs on Solidworks and manufacturing them through 3D-Printing and laser-cutting.
Successfully received 180% increase on project budget ($500.00) by negotiating sponsorship agreements with third parties.
Designed the entire electronic schematics for two PCBs using KiCad to allow autonomy via wireless communication between user and robot.
Awards and recognition include First Place in the Project Design Awards for the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, being feature story in the Engineering News Magazine under the headline "Students Prototyping their Future”, and being invited to Gump at the Exposcience Fair to about 1,400 attendants.

SIMurai (A Sumo-Robot) - Montreal, QC - January 2013 to April 2013
Led a team of five to work on a sumo-robot for a competition at the Engineering Faculty of Concordia University. Worked with constraints including $200 overall budget and short time limit while effectively managing teams time slots to finally create a final design.
