• Intelligent Control – Project: Controlled a Floating Ball System using Fuzzy Logic Controller. System was based on MATLAB interfacing with a NI DAQ device. Objective of this project was to control a floating ball inside a tube.

• Digital System Design – Project: Developed an alarm clock system in Verilog for the Xilinx Spartan 3E FPGA. Software used: Xilinx ISE Design Suite and Xilinx PlanAhead

Senior Design Project
Developed a drowsy detection system for cars called NoDream, which was awarded 3rd place in the 2014 UTSA Technology Symposium. This device alarms drivers who are beginning to fall asleep by warning them through various methods. An android app was developed as one of the warning system. This android application sends a warning system to a specified contact and displays the nearest hotels to the driver. Project was composed of the following parts: Raspberry Pi, RaspiCam, JY-MCU Bluetooth module, Seat Vibrator, Darlington pair, and other discrete components.
