Resume

OBJECTIVE
Continue my growth as a Chemical Engineer with an ambitious employer where I will be challenged to improve and/or develop/design new technologies, products, and/or processes. In turn, I will employ my strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, analytical expertise, and consulting ability to execute assignments in an effective and profitable manner. I seek the opportunity to achieve goals using my initiative, creativity, and persistence to succeed.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Key achievements at Cabot Norit Activated Carbon include complete product and process development from initial concept to plant prototype to multiple plant scale-ups, which was justified by multi-millions of dollars in plant maintenance savings and product sales for sorbents used to remove environmental toxins released by Coal Fired Utility Plants. The last two years have also included process oversight of two of the largest activated carbon furnaces in the United States (Three Patents Awarded, Two Cabot Corporation Technology Awards).

My time at IdaTech, LLC (now Ballard Power Systems) included complete product development of H2 fuel cell systems and fuel reformers from concept design phase of fuel delivery components, reactors, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) purification modules, gas combustion burners, and fuel cell stacks to the overall integration, testing, and product release. In addition, provided substantial contributions to product cost reductions, and increased system reliability and efficiency (Five Patents Awarded).

At Adsorption Research Incorporated, I was mentored by some of the brightest minds in the adsorption industry, which provided a strong foundation for expertise in adsorbent characterization, adsorption applications, and process design (specifically Pressure Swing Adsorption).
