CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT INTERN
Selected for internship to leverage on knowledge in industrial engineering specifically in continuous improvement, lean principles and DMAIC. I identified and documented best operating practices, developed checklists and visuals, optimized process changeover duration by identifying bottleneck tasks, conducting time/methods studies and sequenced tasks to allow for the crewing of operators to carry out parallel activities during changeovers. The project reduced changeover duration and significantly increased overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
