EXPERIENCE
Accura Land Surveying LLC. May 2015 – August 2015; Engineering Intern
I assisted the registered surveyor with completing AutoCAD drawings and talking with clients. This included the use of various surveying equipment and the running of a data collector to take down applicable data towards a job site and then analyzing that data back at the office forming 2-D models of the area for the clients. Research was conducted at courthouses and other sites in deciphering agreements, leases, right-of-way, deeds, legal real property descriptions, and all necessary legal info pertaining towards a job and its eventual completion. I participated in the developing and preparing of engineering plans for new construction in both the public and the private sector.
Olivet Nazarene University August 2014 - May 2015; Resident Assistant
I served 35 men in a university residence apartment. This included leadership, conflict resolution, promotion of community, accountability, submitting work orders for building maintenance, and regular safety inspections. This job allowed me the opportunity to be a leader on a more personal level. I was able to connect with each of the residents in my apartment building by regularly meeting with them and getting to talk to them and helping them with any issues that they had in life.
