Mechanical System Design Spring 2015
• Designed a motorized reacher specifically for assisting the handicapped with cooking that has an arm support, motor, and is self-clamping.
• Worked with a group of students to reverse engineer a clamp and reacher, then improve and design a new innovative reacher.
• Led the mechanical design portion by creating the product in SolidWorks and conducting FEA and Motion analysis testing.
Air Force Research Laboratory- Summer Internship Summer 2014
• Assisted Dr. Malo-Molina in research of long-range hypersonic vehicles to advance technologies and expand the range of possible hypersonic flight.
• Utilized high precision computational fluid dynamics to understand how a supersonic pulse detonation combustor aids in cavity ignition.
